In our experience, if you have a choice, when choosing a camp site to stay on, it really is best to avoid places with the word “International” attached. This generally seems to mean that the site would make an excellent refugee camp. Also, any camp with the word “Tennis” in the title means that they have some tired old courts, with sagging nets and an old shed where restrung racquets and bald balls are available for rent.
But probably the biggest danger sign, the inevitable give away, is if the site name incorporates an american gambling venue, such as Reno, Los Angeles or Nevada. This means that the owner has grand pretensions which have not been maintained or backed with sufficient funds or endeavour. Staying here is a gamble. The clue’s in the name.
