Brilliant weather today. Just the kind of November weather we’ve been looking forward to. Sunshine, a little wind and high flying clouds just the thing to lift our spirits in these dark times. It’s quite a short walk, but there’s plenty of interest – the Solent is always busy with a variety of traffic. The industrial buildings on the other bank with their stark outlines adds to the vista. It will be a pity when the tall chimney is demolished. It’s something of a signature note.
There were a few people about, but not enough to say that it was busy. The downside of the day was the loss of a glove by L. One of a pair which we bought on a trip to Lisbon. It was made to measure. Almost could say it fitted like a glove.
